Model Rescues

Three lovable rescue dogs from Pibbles & More Animal Rescue made an appearance during the Yark lookbook shoot in NYC.  Scout, Foxy and Jamie (pictured below) sure made the Yark products shine. Pibbles & More takes in animals who are in need of a loving home. We are very happy to report that all three model pups have been adopted since the photo shoot.  There are many other hopefuls waiting for their own forever home. Yark will continue to support animal rescue efforts; get ready to see more beauties available for adoption soon!

Research from Virginia Commonwealth University shows that bringing your dog to work  can lower stress and increase employee satisfaction. Talk about win-win. We love seeing the office dogs (and sometimes cats too) at the Free People headquarters. Images from their blog are below.

It has officially begun. Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds are filling up with all the action.  We are remembering a cool moment from last year's Nicholas K show --The end-of-show bow included an appearance from designer Christopher Kunz's dog, Jake. Jake trotted back in after the sibling designer duo.  He's started to become a regular at their shows. Wonder if we'll see him today?  Enjoy!
